Management and Program Analyst

Joining the Secret Service, Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation will allow you to provide analytic engagement in maintaining responsibility for internal agency policy and guidance documents, directives, and forms within the Secret Service. The selectee will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of Strategy, Planning, and Innovation, Enterprise Protocol and Directives Division. Typical work assignments include: Communicates technical information, ideas, and recommendations to a diverse audience, including senior leadership, stakeholders, and operational personnel. Coordinates efforts among diverse team members, fostering collaboration and driving consensus, to develop actional strategies for resolving challenges. Reviews and evaluates established policies, procedures, and operational frameworks to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas where additional guidance is required. Enhances organization performance ensuring programs are equipped to meet evolving needs and challenges. Gathers valuable feedback, addresses concerns, and develops solutions aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations. Conducts detailed reviews of highly technical and foundational documents, including policies, procedures, federal laws, regulations, and agency directives, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their content and implications for organizational operations. Analyzes complex legal and regulatory frameworks to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies between line program operations and established federal, state, or agency policies and procedures.
