Management Consultant - Business Analysis and Service Design

Salary: $120k-$200k (inc. super)

As we continue to grow, Voak is seeking high-performing business analysts, product managers, and service design professionals across a range of experience levels.

We are looking for motivated, collaborative consultants who can translate business needs into clear, actionable outcomes. You will work with Government and Defence clients to understand what they really need, shape services around the people who use them, and turn complex requirements into something delivery teams can act on with confidence.

We have a range of live roles, and will be hiring across Senior Consultant, Manager and Senior Manager levels. These are permanent roles, though we also welcome applications from experienced contractors.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following capabilities and attributes:

• Proven business analysis, service design or product management experience for complex government digital transformation initiatives
• Confident workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement, developing clear epics, user stories and requirements
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to stay effective in ambiguity and adapt to shifting priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce high-quality artefacts that stand up to scrutiny
• A collaborative approach, and a willingness to coach and share knowledge with the client teams you work alongside

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring one or more of the following specialist skills:

• Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
• Dynamics 365, Databricks, OutSystems, Boomi or Azure DevOps
• Defence Capability System, Operational Concept Documents, Functional and Performance Specifications and FIC requirements
• ITIL and ITSM principles
• Qualifications such as CBAP, ITIL or a recognised Product Owner certification are well regarded.

A Baseline security clearance is required at a minimum, with NV1 or higher preferred. Canberra based candidates are preferred, though we will consider applicants from other capital cities.
