Management Information Systems Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Computer Systems Management: Oversee and maintain computer systems across all branch offices, including both Windows and MacOS environments; standardize procurement, installation, maintenance, and replacement processes to ensure efficiency and stability.
- Linux & Open-Source Platforms: Take direct ownership of Linux servers and open-source platforms; install, configure, secure, patch, monitor, automate, and troubleshoot production systems. Evaluate, deploy, and support suitable open-source solutions while maintaining clear documentation and operational standards.
- Network Infrastructure Management: Manage and monitor network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN/cloud services) for branch offices worldwide; ensure secure and stable connectivity across multiple regions.
- Systems Integration & Optimization: Plan, design, and execute end-to-end integration across servers, storage, file systems, identity and access management, email, business applications, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms; troubleshoot interoperability issues and deliver reliable hybrid solutions across Linux, Windows, and MacOS environments (e.g., Active Directory/LDAP, SSO, MDM, file sharing, and automation).
- Cloud Integration: Manage and integrate Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, and Google Workspace in hybrid cloud environments; ensure account, email, collaboration tools, and file security across platforms.
- Global IT Integration: Lead IT system integration projects for multinational subsidiaries; develop IT governance policies that comply with local regulations and global corporate standards.
- Information Security & Endpoint Protection: Implement endpoint security policies (user access control, patch management, antivirus, endpoint protection); establish Data Loss Prevention (DLP) measures to monitor and prevent information leakage.
- Risk Control & Compliance: Define IT security standards and audit mechanisms to comply with international frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR); conduct periodic vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and staff training.
- Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to branch offices and overseas sites required.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degreeor above in Information Management, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of IT/MIS experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role; proven experience in multinational IT systems integration and project management; substantial hands-on experience administering Linux servers and mixed Linux, Windows, and Apple environments (Active Directory/LDAP, MDM, cross-platform security, scripting, and automation).
- Technical Skills: Must be highly proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting, including command-line tools, shell scripting, package management, permissions, networking, system services, performance tuning, patching, and hardening. Strong knowledge of open-source technologies and ecosystems, network architecture (LAN/WAN/VPN), server and cloud infrastructure, virtualization/containers, monitoring, backup, and automation; expertise in systems integration, APIs, identity services, information security, auditing, DLP, firewalls, and endpoint security.
- Certifications(Preferred): Linux certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE or LFCS/LFCE; Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect / Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert); Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or similar MacOS integration certification; CISSP / CCNP / PMP are a plus.
- Language: Proficiency inEnglish (both written and spoken) to collaborate with international teams.
- Personal Attributes: A highly hands-on, resourceful self-starter who can independently diagnose problems, make sound technical decisions, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision. Strong ownership, leadership, strategic thinking, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
