Management & Program Analyst
This position is in Education Services (EDU) serving as a senior Management and Program Analyst, on the Compliance, Investigations, and Enforcement Team. This position provides analytical support, project management, and organizational performance evaluation in support of the division operations.
Specific duties include: Leads and manages assigned portfolio programs within the Program Oversight and Accountability Division. Provides strategic planning and oversight to ensure compliance with education and training program requirements. Resolves sensitive and complex issues independently and provides recommendations to leadership. Coordinates program goals and initiatives with federal, state, private sector, and nonprofit stakeholders. Serves as a organizer, facilitator and/or liaison for meetings, conferences, and internal and external communications. Researches, analyzes, and evaluates policies, regulations, and institutional data to identify trends and improve program effectiveness. Develops reports, briefings, and recommendations to support program oversight and decision-making. Implements process improvements, monitors program performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Leverages Microsoft 365 products and other technology tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Supervises GS-11 through GS-13 employees, assigning work, setting priorities, and monitoring performance. Establishes performance standards, coaches and develops employees, and addresses performance and training needs. Oversees recruitment, employee relations, labor relations, and disciplinary actions while promoting EEO, safety, and organizational policies. Promotion Potential: The full performance level is GS-14 Work Schedule: Full Time Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only. The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday. Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval.
