The Management Analyst position is in San Antonio, Texas at the Department of Veteran's Affairs' Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital Division (ALMD) in the Patient Care Services Department - Nursing Service. The Management Analyst functions as a member of a multidisciplinary leadership team with complex duties and responsibilities that impact the delivery of healthcare to veterans and their families.

The Management Analyst position is in San Antonio, Texas at the Department of Veteran's Affairs' Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital Division (ALMD) in the Patient Care Services Department - Nursing Service. The Management Analyst functions as a member of a multidisciplinary leadership team with complex duties and responsibilities that impact the delivery of healthcare to veterans and their families. Duties may include but are not limited to: Performing data management, program analysis and coordination in support of the service and Nursing Service Programs. Responsible for integrating, coordinating, and managing a multitude of administrative functions as well as spearheading administrative, clinical, financial and managerial responsibilities. Utilizes statistical data analysis to frequently compile workload reports, produce charts, graphs, monitor project or program information on a regular basis for all Nursing Service program staff. Responsible for identifying and recommending ways of eliminating, combining, simplifying or improving procedures and processes for the Nursing driven programs to include all nursing driven operations in Primary Care. Perform complex assignments within designated suspense periods, various quantitative and qualitative reports, budget reports, DSS and Labor Mapping, Relative Value Unit data compilation and other requirements mandated. Articulates in writing all requests, memos, presentations and correspondence to other services and external parties as needed. Applies analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural, administrative or factual nature. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm or 8:00pm to 4:30pm. Telework: This position is eligible for Telework on an Ad-hoc basis. Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
