MANAGEMENT TRAINEE FOR HEAD CHEF
Management Trainee – Pathway to Head Chef
Micro Café | New Brand Launch | Culinary Leadership Opportunity
Applicants to be Senior Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef
We are looking for an ambitious and technically accomplished Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join the launch of our first micro café concept.
This is a management trainee position designed for a chef with strong culinary fundamentals who is ready to develop into a Head Chef role. You will work closely with senior management and receive direct, hands-on training in culinary leadership, menu development, kitchen systems, sourcing, food costing and commercial decision-making.
You will help build the culinary programme from the ground up while progressively taking greater ownership of daily kitchen operations. This is not simply an execution role. Your ideas, judgement and technical expertise will contribute directly to the identity and future direction of the brand.
Excellent cooking technique is essential. We are looking for someone who understands the technical details behind consistently great food, from ingredient selection and preparation methods to temperature control, texture, seasoning and presentation.
For the right chef, this is a genuine opportunity to grow beyond day-to-day kitchen responsibilities and prepare for a Head Chef position within a proven management team.
Our Culture: Hospitality First
Hospitality comes before ego, hierarchy and personal convenience. Every decision begins with how we make our guests and colleagues feel.
Our culture draws inspiration from the people-first service philosophies: genuine care, graciousness, professionalism, attention to detail and the belief that excellent hospitality begins with how we treat one another.
We expect every team member whether in the kitchen, on the floor or in management to contribute to a welcoming and respectful environment. Excellence matters, but it must always be delivered with warmth, humility and care.
