2. Sales & Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Prepare and review quotations, tenders and proposals.
- Develop sales strategies for air-conditioning, HVAC equipment, installation and maintenance services.
- Maintain relationships with main contractors, consultants, developers, building owners and suppliers.
- Follow up on sales enquiries and project opportunities.
- Monitor sales targets and project conversion rates.
3. Project Management
- Oversee air-conditioning and HVAC installation projects from quotation to completion.
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications, equipment selection and costs.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
- Ensure projects are completed according to approved specifications, budget and schedule.
- Resolve technical, site and coordination issues.
4. Service & Maintenance
- Oversee preventive maintenance, breakdown service and repair operations.
- Ensure service teams respond to customer complaints and breakdowns promptly.
- Monitor maintenance contracts and service schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation of service reports and maintenance records.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and workmanship.
5. Technical & Engineering Coordination
- Review HVAC system proposals, equipment selections and technical submissions.
- Understand air-conditioning systems, ventilation, ductwork, fans, pumps, chillers and related equipment.
- Review technical drawings, calculations and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers and technicians on technical issues.
- Ensure installations comply with project requirements and applicable Singapore standards.
6. Financial & Cost Management
- Monitor project costs, material costs, labour costs and operating expenses.
- Review project budgets and profitability.
- Control unnecessary expenses and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor outstanding payments and assist with credit control.
- Review supplier pricing and negotiate commercial terms where appropriate.
7. Procurement & Supplier Management
- Source air-conditioning and HVAC equipment, materials and services.
- Negotiate prices and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Maintain good relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available according to project schedules.
- Monitor purchasing costs and inventory levels.
8. Staff & Manpower Management
- Lead and supervise sales, project, engineering, administrative, service and site personnel.
- Allocate manpower according to project and operational requirements.
- Set performance expectations and monitor employee performance.
- Conduct staff training and development.
- Assist with recruitment of suitable technical and administrative personnel.
- Promote teamwork, discipline and professional work practices.
9. Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and professionally.
- Implement proper workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure employees and subcontractors comply with applicable safety requirements.
- Monitor workmanship and quality of installation.
- Investigate complaints, defects and incidents and implement corrective actions.
10. Customer & Client Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Handle major customer complaints and technical issues.
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable HVAC solutions.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
