Manager, AI Science

Your role will be to lead the science behind Vocus’s AI: predictive models, optimisation and the experiments that prove value. Make sure model choices are evidence-based and results are measured properly.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the AI Science team
Own the modelling approach for predictive and optimisation use cases, such as churn, propensity and network capacity
Design experiments and measurement frameworks to prove incremental value against clear baselines and control groups
Partner with data owners to ensure data quality and fitness for priority AI use cases
Define and contribute to evaluation methods for generative AI solutions
Partner with Finance to provide robust evidence for benefits validation and value realisation
Act as AI Chief of Staff to the ELT, helping executives build their proficiency in using AI and embedding it into how they lead and work

Skills & Experience

Background in applied ML or AI science, with experience leading people
Strong statistics, experimentation and ML; Python and SQL
Experience with churn, pricing, forecasting or network analytics desirable
Clear communicator to non-technical leaders.
