About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager – AI Security to lead the organisation’s AI/ML cybersecurity strategy, architecture and security controls. You will serve as the technical authority for securing Generative AI, agentic AI, ML systems and AI-enabled platforms, while strengthening defences against emerging AI-powered cyber threats.

This role will work closely with Technology GRC, Internal Audit, AI Assurance, SOC, IT and business stakeholders to establish a robust and compliant AI security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the organisation’s AI Security strategy, including secure-by-design architecture and enterprise AI security controls.

  • Establish AI security governance aligned with NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, IMDA, MAS and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Design and implement security controls for Generative AI, AI agents, copilots, automation and ML pipelines, including prompt injection protection, output filtering, sandboxing and credential controls.

  • Lead protection against AI-powered cyber threats, including deepfake-driven BEC, AI phishing, synthetic identity fraud, social engineering and AI-enabled data exfiltration.

  • Drive AI red teaming, adversarial testing, vulnerability remediation and AI incident response, while partnering with SOC and external security providers.

  • Monitor AI security risks and control effectiveness, manage remediation to closure, and provide senior management / Board-level reporting on AI security posture.

  • Manage AI security vendors, MSSPs and security testing providers, including budgets and lifecycle management of AI security tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related discipline.

  • 7–10 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML Security, AI Security or MLSecOps.

  • Hands-on experience securing production AI systems, such as Generative AI, agentic AI or ML pipelines.

  • Strong knowledge of NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10 and MITRE ATLAS, with relevant senior certification such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI security risks into executive and Board-level recommendations.
