Manager, AI Vision Forensics

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Manager, AI Vision Forensics to join our team. You will be responsible for analysing and verifying AI-generated, AI-assisted and digitally manipulated visual content, with particular focus on artwork, graphics, images, illustrations, logos, symbols and other visual media.

This role combines expertise in art and visual analysis, AI vision, computer vision, digital forensics, cybersecurity and cloud technologies. You will also work closely with our technical teams to support solution design and project implementation for customers across Asia.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and forensic assessment of visual content to determine whether it is likely to be human-created, AI-assisted, AI-generated or digitally manipulated.

• Analyse artwork, graphics, illustrations, images, logos, symbols, typography and other visual content from both artistic and technical perspectives.

• Apply AI vision, computer vision and multimodal AI technologies to analyse, classify, authenticate and investigate visual content.

• Identify AI-generated or manipulated characteristics through visual composition, artistic style, geometry, patterns, textures, typography, lighting, perspective and other visual indicators.

• Review metadata, file properties, content provenance and other available digital evidence to support authenticity assessments.

• Evaluate and apply AI-based approaches for image recognition, visual similarity analysis, object and pattern detection, image manipulation detection, deepfake and synthetic-media identification.

• Apply cybersecurity and digital-forensics principles to investigations involving suspicious, fraudulent or manipulated digital content.

• Develop assessment methodologies, standards, workflows and SOPs for AI vision and visual forensics.

• Prepare professional assessment reports outlining findings, supporting evidence, limitations and confidence levels.

• Work closely with AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Solution and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design and PoC through implementation, testing, deployment and post-implementation review.

• Translate artistic and visual-forensics requirements into practical technical requirements and support technical teams in developing AI vision models, workflows, PoCs and customer solutions.

• Participate in customer workshops, technical discussions, demonstrations and project meetings, and provide subject-matter expertise during project implementation.

• Evaluate the accuracy, robustness, explainability and limitations of AI vision and computer vision models used in forensic analysis.

• Support regional customer projects and collaborate with teams, customers and partners across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Southeast Asia and other Asian markets.

• Travel within Asia as required for customer engagements, projects, investigations, workshops and meetings.

• Keep abreast of developments in Generative AI, AI vision, visual arts, computer vision, deepfake technologies, cybersecurity and digital forensics.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Art, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Creative Media, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computer Vision, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Data Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Candidates with an Art / Visual-related academic background combined with strong AI and technology knowledge, or an AI / technology background with strong art and visual expertise, are highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of visual arts, artistic styles, graphic design principles, composition, colour, form, typography and visual communication.

• Strong understanding of Generative AI, AI vision, computer vision, multimodal AI and AI-generated visual content.

• Knowledge of digital forensics, image manipulation, metadata analysis, content provenance, deepfakes and synthetic-media detection.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity and cloud technologies and their application to AI and digital-forensics solutions.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, computer vision, image-analysis or digital-forensics technologies is an advantage.

• Experience supporting technology project implementation, solution delivery, PoC development or customer-facing technical projects is highly preferred.

• Experience in a System Integrator (SI), technology consulting, cybersecurity, AI or professional services environment is an advantage.

• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to visual and technical details.

• Strong project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Regional exposure or experience working with teams, customers or projects across Asia is highly desirable.

• Able and willing to travel within Asia as required.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
