Position Summary:
Manage and oversee aircraft interior IFE and avionics maintenance on all Atlas fleets. Work in coordination with Engineering and serve as team leader on providing inspection direction, coordinate with procurement in IFE spares provisioning requirements, coordinate with Materials to source parts and oversee and assist mx during scheduled mx events. Act as a focal point to develop the master plan for aircraft IFE and avionics from Line MX through Heavy Maintenance visits. Work closely with Manager of 747/767 Interiors
Major Job Accountabilities:
- Reviews deferred items and ensures correct parts are ordered and moving daily
- Assist in finding IFE part suppliers and repair vendors
- Controls IFE media content updates. Publishes matrix of scheduled updates to include stations and dates.
- Works with IFE vendors and parts suppliers to ensure all aircraft IFE systems function properly
- Reviews upcoming assigned maintenance checks and works with materials group to obtain parts required
- Performs IFE inspections prior to maintenance events to obtain an understanding what needs to be addressed on assigned aircraft
- Identify, order and follow up on parts required for planned maintenance events
- Support PAX aircraft when in rotations away from base as assigned
- Support maintenance planning while aircraft in check as assigned
- Assists in getting new parts uploaded into Trax to reflect effectiveness.
- Assists Materials and Procurement in obtaining parts, tooling, and specialized services.
- Reviews and updates IFE component bin levels
- Reviews cabin items for repeat issues and/or trends. Determines root cause and implements policies and procedures to rectify.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Monitors FA ICMI’s
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant license required
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience required
- Passport for travel Required
- Minimum 5 years work experience with passenger A/C & IFE
- Familiar with Outlook, Excel, Word and IE.
- Understand how to read and interpret maintenance manuals, OEM parts catalogues and technical bulletins
- Ability to interact, communicate and maintain relationships with vendors, customers and all levels of management.
- This position will require travel (50%)
