Essential Functions

Manages complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by researching potential solutions ; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; updating business data ; creating visual prototypes and design documentation; monitoring solutions and troubleshooting any issues ; completing dashboard and reporting specifications; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communicate results.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and promotiong a belonging mindset in workplace.
Manages the implementation of business intelligence solution roadmaps by developing written and oral presentations and presenting to audiences (for example, management, customers, suppliers, business intelligence, and analytics staff); teaching business intelligence and reporting technologies and processes through informal and formal mentorship both inside and outside the team; ensuring solution testing and validation; ensuring requirements are met to support implementations ; overseeing upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products; reviewing impact of changes before and after solution implementation; and communicating project results and updates to senior leadership.
Creates and revises complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by identifying business requirements and validating gathered information ; collaborating with subject matter experts, data experts, and other business intelligence and analytics experts; coordinating the evaluation of customer and supplier solutions; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; designing and conducting analysis and reporting solutions; writing detailed dashboard and reporting specifications; documenting and revising processes to collect, analyze, compile, and submit data and information; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communicate results.
Understands current customer business intelligence and reporting needs by managing production of scheduled reports; managing reporting databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data; maintaining materials for state-of-the-art user interfaces that enable business users to interpret trends and exceptions; providing guidance and direction to stakeholders to interpret trends and exceptions; and identifying gaps and opportunities in business intelligence and reporting solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications (this level)
· Experience: 3+ years in analytics / BI / business operations, incl. 2+ years managing analysts; e-commerce / marketplace background preferred.
· AI & Automation: Hands-on with AI/ML and GenAI tooling - demand-sensing, LLM copilots, retrieval / knowledge-bank design; can set and own the AI-enablement roadmap.
· Technical: Expert SQL & BigQuery; dashboarding (Looker/Tableau/Power BI); pipeline automation and metric governance.
· Ops & Governance: Strong PMO discipline - defines SLAs, tracks initiatives cross-team, and runs a single-source-of-truth operating cadence; responsible-AI governance.
· Leadership: Builds and develops a BI & Ops + AI + RoW pod; sets standards adopted org-wide.
· Commercial: Translates data into category and business actions; comfortable challenging L0 Directors with evidence.
· Languages: English - professional working proficiency (required); Mandarin - fluent; additional languages a plus for RoW.
Minimum Qualifications (corporate baseline)
· Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, computer science, or related field and 5 years’ experience in analytics, BI, or business operations OR 7 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
· E-commerce / marketplace analytics background.
· Hands-on GenAI/LLM and data-engineering experience; Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
Travel
· Travels domestically and internationally to and from multiple facilities or work-sites, which may require extended overnight stays.
