Assistant Operations Manager

Position Summary

Bomy LLC is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Assistant Operations Manager to help oversee daily delivery operations, manage drivers, maintain safety standards, and ensure company and Amazon performance expectations are met.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, transportation, or a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to supervise employees, enforce policies, and hold team members accountable.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience monitoring employee performance, coaching, and handling disciplinary matters.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and operational systems.
• Dependable, professional, punctual, and able to handle workplace conflicts.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Amazon DSP or delivery operations experience.
• Familiarity with Amazon delivery standards, dispatch, and route tracking.
• Experience managing drivers, scheduling, attendance, and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspections, safety procedures, and incident reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

• Assist with daily dispatch, route assignments, and return-to-station operations.
• Monitor driver progress and coordinate rescues when necessary.
• Help manage staffing, scheduling, call-outs, and operational changes.

Driver Management

• Supervise, coach, and support delivery associates.
• Monitor driver attendance, productivity, safety, and route performance.
• Address performance issues and enforce company policies consistently.
• Document coaching, disciplinary actions, and employee concerns.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure drivers follow traffic laws, safety policies, and Amazon delivery standards.
• Monitor vehicle inspections, damage reports, and safety incidents.
• Address unsafe driving behaviors and delivery violations.

Customer Service and Administration

• Monitor customer complaints, delivery errors, and customer feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, performance, and incident records.
• Assist with timekeeping, overtime tracking, and employee training.
• Report operational concerns to management.

Work Schedule

• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to operational changes.
