Manager, Application and Development - Photo (Kuanyin)

1. Develop and Support launch of new formulated products to the market

• Lead the development of new photo-related formulated products (PR stripper, coating materials) for advanced semiconductor processes.
• Translate customer requirements into technical concepts, formulations, and performance targets.
• Ensure alignment with customer roadmap and advanced node technology requirements.
• Define product design strategy, including chemistry selection, mechanism understanding, and performance optimization.

2. Technical Data and Documentation

• Ensure preparation of technical documentation for internal and external use (e.g., reports, presentations, SOPs).
• Support raw material sourcing of prototype formulations together with the global sourcing team.
• Define and oversee generation of technical data, including performance metrics, mechanism studies, and reliability results.

3. Technical Service Requests (TSR)

• Respond to “Technical Service Requirements (TSR)” internally or externally for business purposes.
• Fulfill customer needs demanded from technical service requests (TSR) with technical information collection and data preparation of appropriate chemistry.

4. Innovation and Intellectual Property

• Drive innovation through literature review, competitive analysis, and internal knowledge sharing.
• Conduct literature research (papers, patents, reports, etc.) to stimulate innovative ideas and develop new technology.
• Issue patents and FTOs with the global patent legal department before new products are put on the market.

5. BASF EHS guideline

• Ensure all R&D activities comply with company EHS policies and global regulations.
• Assess chemical risks and implement safe handling and formulation strategies.
• Support product registration and regulatory documentation as required.
