Manager - Area Operations

To be focal to impacting various facets of Area terminal & inland operations.
To be accountable for all data ownership in the Area and drive decisions basis analytics.
To pivot market facing discussions externally.
The role is critical for departmental stakeholder management
and in enabling decision making & driving negotiations

  • This is a pivotal role in Area India operations that will own and lead
    several departmental decisions. The incumbent is expected to be agile
    and extremely motivated with understanding information and making
    impactful interventions.

  • Cost analysis and cost reduction –
    enable internal negotiations towards the same. Appropriate internal
    navigation to take calls with the Area interest in focus.

  • Pivot external stakeholder relations with CSLA / Customs /
    Port authorities / terminals / inland suppliers. Be a key stakeholder
    is representation across forums.

  • Workstream enablers – Inland operations & Equipment. To be the
    chief influencer in driving the workstreams in line with our
    long-term strategy.

  • Data ownership & analytics

  • Decision making to drive Port operation KPIs of scheduled reliability

  • Operational data ownership & analytics. Accountability of all
    relevant dashboards and relevant metrics


    Team Management

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open

  • Set clear team and individual KPI’s goals

  • Motivate and lead the team to achieve most efficient
    and timely delivery.

  • Set up internal timely meetings for project kick-offs, creative reviews,
    and team checkpoints
