Role: Manager, Asset Management

Location: Tokyo

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management: Oversee the management of the company’s data center assets, including development projects, monthly OPEX payments, and portfolio optimization
  • Asset Management: Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset performance while adhering to financial and operational best practices to minimize potential risks
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic data to provide insights and recommendations
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive asset management reports for the management, stakeholders and the financial institutions
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations and company policies. Stay updated on changes in financial legislation and standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or a similar role, within the Japanese market
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a multinational organization
  • Knowledge of local asset management standards
  • Experience with portfolio management and investment advisory
  • Experience in project development including dealing with local authorities, local communities, utilities as well as possess land title knowledge
