Manager – Azure AI-Native Full Stack, Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics

Summary

Lead modernization of legacy apps to Azure, designing cloud-native stacks with AI-native tooling and CI/CD pipelines while mentoring teams on React/.NET/Java/Python and Azure services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the assessment, planning, and architecture of full stack application modernization and migration projects to Microsoft Azure.
  • Analyze existing application portfolios for cloud readiness, dependencies, and modernization opportunities.
  • Architect end-to-end migration solutions including re-hosting, re-platforming, and refactoring of front-end, back-end, and data components.
  • Design cloud-native application architectures using Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Azure API Management, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or Bicep.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools, incorporating AI-powered code quality gates and automated security scanning.
  • Lead and mentor development teams on AI-native engineering practices, establishing standards for AI tool adoption and measuring productivity gains across modern development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend technologies (Node.js, .NET Core, Java, Python).
  • Ensure application security best practices including Azure AD integration, role-based access control (RBAC), data encryption, and compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Security, QA, and Business teams for smooth migration and ongoing support.
  • Monitor application performance, cost, and availability post-migration; implement optimization strategies.
  • Evaluate and integrate agentic AI solutions into development and deployment workflows to drive automation and efficiency.
  • Drive documentation of architecture designs, migration plans, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in software development and architecture with proven expertise in full stack technologies
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and application migration projects
  • Daily proficiency with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex) with demonstrated ability to improve team productivity through AI tool adoption
  • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks including LangChain, Claude Agent SDK, Azure AI Agent Service, and Azure Fabric, and their application in the SDLC
  • Understanding of AI agents in development workflows (automated code review, deployment agents, testing agents)
  • Proficiency in front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Strong back‑end development skills with Node.js, .NET Core, Java, Python, or equivalent
  • Experience migrating legacy applications to Azure using methodologies like lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming, refactoring
  • In‑depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, and Azure Active Directory
  • Skilled with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep)
  • Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
