You will lead complex business analysis initiatives that translate stakeholder needs into practical, scalable solutions.
The role combines hands-on analysis with people leadership, giving you ownership of major initiatives while developing a high-performing BA team.

• Lead scoping, requirements definition, prioritization, and requirements management for large and complex initiatives.
• Select and apply appropriate predictive, iterative, or Agile requirements methodologies, tools, and techniques based on project needs.
• Gather input from diverse stakeholder groups, secure agreement on requirements, establish baselines, and manage changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Investigate business requirements, operational challenges, and opportunities to identify effective solutions across automated and non-automated processes.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to evaluate options, identify expected benefits, and define appropriate acceptance criteria and tests.
• Analyze user goals, tasks, and environments to ensure products and services are aligned with usability and accessibility expectations.
• Facilitate user-centric assessments, evaluate prototypes and designs, interpret findings, and prioritize improvements.
• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication approaches while strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
• Resolve stakeholder issues, coordinate corrective actions, capture lessons learned, and use feedback to improve engagement and outcomes.
• Analyze, model, and redesign business processes to identify opportunities for automation, technology adoption, and improved efficiency.
• Develop process representations and assess the feasibility and potential benefits of proposed process changes.
• Apply business process improvement methodologies and contribute to organizational policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Manage and develop Business Analysts by allocating work, delegating responsibilities, setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and supporting career development.
• Coach and mentor team members while encouraging continuous learning and development of business analysis capabilities.
• Monitor team performance and ensure people-related objectives, quality standards, and key performance indicators are consistently achieved.
• Contribute to the evolution of business analysis practices, standards, and organizational capabilities.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, tools, methodologies, and practices relevant to business analysis within the life sciences sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as mathematics, science, engineering, computing, or a related field, or equivalent project-related professional experience.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid professional experience in business analysis or a closely related role, ideally within the life sciences sector.
• Experience in clinical data management or programming, particularly designing electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs), developing edit checks, and supporting studies from initiation through completion.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum, as well as UML, object-oriented approaches, data modeling, and established business analysis methodologies.
• Experience with process modeling standards such as BPMN.
• Knowledge and practical application of Lean Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and scope management.
• Demonstrated line management and team leadership experience, including delegation, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Strong understanding of business analysis best practices; professional BA qualifications are advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and varied assignments in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and making decisions independently.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements and encourage continuous improvement across the team.

• Annual base salary: $87,585–$125,120, with the final offer varying according to experience, skills, and applicable market considerations.
