Job Overview

The Category Insights Manager leverages syndicated data, customer data, and third party research to uncover growth opportunities and drive strategic business decisions. This role serves as a key partner to Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams by translating POS, shopper, and market insights into actionable recommendations that support Give & Go's growth objectives and competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Category Marketing, Customer Marketing (Frozen & Kits), Sales, and other key stakeholders to transform insights into strategies, business solutions, and growth opportunities.
Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks impacting Give & Go's business.
Provide forward-looking consumer and shopper insights to help anticipate market shifts and emerging trends.
Ensure business and brand strategies are grounded in a thorough understanding of consumers, retailers, and category dynamics.
Develop customized category insight presentations to support retailer line reviews, category reviews, and strategic customer engagements.
Design and deliver tools, reports, and communication vehicles that enhance organizational learning, innovation, and fact-based decision making.
Champion the use of insights across the organization by promoting data-driven thinking and best practices.
Coach and support team members and business partners in the use of research methodologies, analytical tools, and discovery processes that address key business questions.
Demonstrate Give & Go's Leadership Competencies by fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture, while supporting company people processes and leadership expectations.

Recipe for Success

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, category management, analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in market research, consumer behavior, category analysis, and trend identification.
Advanced proficiency with syndicated and retailer data sources, including Circana, NielsenIQ (NIQ), 84.51°, and Scintilla.
Proven ability to distill complex data and research findings into clear, compelling, and actionable business recommendations.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple locations.
Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI experience preferred.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while effectively contributing in a collaborative team environment.
