This role goes beyond day-to-day operations. You will partner closely with clinical leaders, nursing, allied health and corporate teams to strengthen service delivery, scale new care models and build sustainable systems that support the future of integrated care.

You will play a key role in translating strategy into execution, ensuring services remain patient-centred, operationally efficient and aligned with organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and Strengthen Integrated Care Services

  • Partner clinical leaders to drive operational strategy, service planning and execution across DICC clinical departments.
  • Support the design, implementation and scaling of new care models across outpatient, inpatient and community settings.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, patient experience and operational outcomes through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong collaboration across clinical, nursing, allied health and corporate functions to achieve shared objectives.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Oversee operational and financial performance across designated departments and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity and service outcomes.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable workplans, ensuring timely execution and measurable impact.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Lead budgeting, resource planning and governance activities to support sustainable service growth.
  • Prepare management reports, business cases and presentations to facilitate decision-making and organisational planning.

Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams

  • Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to clinical operations executives and support staff.
  • Build team capability, accountability and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Align team objectives with departmental goals and organisational priorities.

Advance Care Planning Leadership

  • Provide operational leadership and strategic oversight for the Advance Care Planning Office.
  • Drive service improvements that enhance public awareness, accessibility, uptake and completion of Advance Care Planning.
  • Oversee resource planning, financial management and service sustainability.
  • Lead outreach, engagement and education initiatives that strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of innovative approaches that expand the reach and impact of Advance Care Planning services.

Deliver Meaningful Engagement and Partnerships

  • Lead the planning and execution of key programmes, engagement initiatives and events.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance integrated care objectives.
  • Represent the department in cross-functional projects, committees and organisational initiatives where required.

Contribute Beyond Your Portfolio

  • Support hospital-wide, cluster-level and strategic initiatives as assigned.
  • Participate in projects that strengthen integrated care capabilities and advance organisational transformation.

What You Bring

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • At least 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in healthcare operations, service management, clinical administration or related fields.
  • Prior experience leading teams and managing operational functions.
  • Healthcare, community care or integrated care experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
