MANAGER-CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATION
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of Med - Cardiovascular Disease, is seeking a Manager-Clinical Research Coordination.
General Responsibilities
To manage all aspects of research program and clinical studies including education/teaching.
To oversee and manage multiple clinical research protocols and the associated personnel.
To design best practices for management of IP for drug, device, and biologic studies.
To prepare study budgets.
To manage research staff within area including all applicable human resources functions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises a team of clinical research coordinators and other support staff.
Mentors and provides guidance to CRCs on study-related procedures and documentation.
Management of Redcap database.
Assists the PI in the conduct of the clinical study according to FDS/IRB regulations and guidelines.
Serves as the primary liaison between investigators, sponsors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Prepares data reports and summaries for regulatory agencies and IRBs.
Ensures compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulatory guidelines. Study Management and Data Management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Annual Salary Range\: $77,640 - $126,170
