Manager, Collections Strategy Delivery

1. What is this job actually about?

In simple words, this job is about building, testing, and implementing rules that decide how a bank should contact customers who have missed or are about to miss their credit payments.

Your role is to convert those business decisions into technical rules using tools such as SAS, Experian Power Curve

Strategy Manager, and Fiserv Rules.

2. your day-to-day work

• SAS programming - use SAS to process customer account data and implement collection strategies.
• Experian PowerCurve Strategy Manager - This is a platform used to configure and execute decision strategies through business rules and decision flows.
• Testing and quality checks - Before a strategy change goes live, you must verify that it works correctly.
• Project and stakeholder management - As this is a Manager-level role, you are expected to do more than just write code.

3. What skills are required?

Essential skills

• SAS programming - At least 2 years of hands-on experience or knowledge of SAS programming.
• Large-data processing and testing - Experience working with large datasets, development or test environments, and data validation.
• Analytical thinking- Understanding data, identifying problems, investigating mismatches, and making decisions.
• PowerCurve Strategy Manager or Fiserv Rules - Around one year of experience is desirable.
• Project management - Handling several changes, estimating timelines, managing risks, and meeting deadlines.
• Communication and presentation - Explaining technical issues and business results clearly to stakeholders and management.
