Job Overview
The Manager – Commercial Office will lead commercial initiatives including business development, investment evaluations, strategic partnerships, revenue generation, and commercial agreements to support institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, acquisitions, and strategic projects through financial modelling, valuations, feasibility studies, and commercial assessments.
- Lead financial, tax, legal, and commercial due diligence processes with external advisers and stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new revenue-generating opportunities, partnerships, and business ventures.
- Develop and manage relationships with universities, industry partners, government authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, partnerships, contracts, and related arrangements.
- Prepare business cases, financial analyses, commercial evaluations, and management reports.
- Monitor the performance, risks, and financial outcomes of commercial initiatives.
- Support business expansion and strategic growth initiatives within the higher education sector.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field** from a recognized university/institution.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial, supervisory, or leadership role.
- Proven experience in commercial strategy, business development, and revenue generation.
- Professional qualifications or progress towards qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Investment Management, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
- Strong financial analysis, negotiation, stakeholder management, and business development skills.
