About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Connectivity Program Manager to lead large-scale automotive connectivity programs for global OEM customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive software development, connectivity and telematics systems, program delivery, customer engagement, and people leadership.
The role requires end-to-end ownership of multiple connectivity projects, including planning, execution, staffing, financial management, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction while leading geographically distributed teams.
What You Will Do
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 12–18+ years of experience in automotive software development.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large automotive programs.
- Proven experience managing global customer-facing programs.
- Strong knowledge of automotive connectivity and telematics systems.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong programming skills in Java and Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android UI development, and custom views.
- Experience with AOSP customization and Android Automotive platform is a plus.
- Understanding of automotive software development and HMI/IVI system architecture.
- Familiarity with CAN, LIN, or other automotive communication protocols is desirable.
- Experience with tools like Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage multiple automotive connectivity programs from concept to production.
- Own program scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Drive execution across global development teams located in India, Europe, and customer locations.
- Establish program governance, status reporting, risk management, and escalation mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with customer processes and automotive quality standards
