Manager - Construction

• Manage and monitor the Main Contractor and specialist subcontractors.
  
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities and overall site progress.
  
• Monitor the approved programme, identify delays and implement recovery measures.
  
• Coordinate Architects, Structural, MEP, QS and specialist consultants.
  
• Monitor construction quality, inspections, mock-ups and NCR closure.
  
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP and finishing works.
  
• Monitor contractor resources, workmanship and site productivity.
  
• Assist with variations, delays, claims and other contractual matters.
  
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
  
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
  
• Prepare regular progress reports and highlight key risks and issues to the Project Director/Project Manager.
  
• Managing overall site activities
  

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized university.
  
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, including at least 7 years in building construction/site management.
  
• Proven experience in managing hotel/resort or other high-end hospitality projects, preferably with at least two projects completed through construction, finishing and handover.
  
• Previous experience in a PMC/consultancy environment would be highly desirable.
  
• Strong experience in managing Main Contractors and coordinating Architects, Structural, MEP, QS and specialist consultants.
  
• Good knowledge of construction planning, programme management, quality control, HSE, contract administration and construction methodologies.
  
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project, AutoCAD and relevant construction management systems (cloud system).
  
• Good knowledge of civil, structural, architectural finishing and MEP coordination works.
  
• Experience in hotel fit-out, testing & commissioning and handover would be an advantage.
  
• Familiar with MS Office, outlook and Teams.
  
• Good communication and presentation skills in English
