Manager - Continuous Improvement
Job Responsibilities
Drive structured problem identification by collaborating with operational teams (Distribution Channels and Retail Operations), and maintain a clear, prioritized improvement pipeline.
Translate improvement opportunities into actionable deployment plans with stage-gate governance, including scope definition, milestones, change management, and communication strategies.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and workshops (e.g., Kaizen, VSM, PDCA) for Distribution Channels and Retail teams.
Design and execute pilot projects with defined success metrics; establish baselines, quantify benefits, and develop a repository of best practices.
Own and manage the improvement pipeline, including focused improvement and automation opportunities; collaborate with IT and Automation teams as initiatives progress. Track and define automation coverage across processes.
Develop bite-sized microlearning materials and training toolkits to support adoption of new ways of working and ensure sustainability of improvements.
Facilitate cross-functional root cause analysis (RCA) sessions and coach teams on problem-solving methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and 8D.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant working experience; exposure to Retail, Store Operations, Distribution Centre's (DC), or Logistics is an added advantage.
Familiarity with business process automation tools (e.g., cloud flows, low-code platforms).
Strong experience in change management, communications, and training design and delivery.
Proven experience in project execution, development, and benefits tracking.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
