Manager – Cost s Margin Excellence (Profitability Improvement) Role Purpose

Drive improvementin profitability by identifying cost leakages and operational inefficiencies across procurement, supply chain, production, and logistics. The role will focus on deep analysis, root cause identification, and execution of improvement initiatives that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Profit Improvement

• Analyze cost trends across products and identify key cost leakages.

• Drive initiatives to improve profitability through cost optimization and process improvements.

• Track and report profitimprovement initiatives and financial impact.

2. Cost Reduction Initiatives

• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics, and operational costs. • Implement cost control frameworks across supply chain and production.

3. Damage and Returns Reduction

• Analyze product damage, production rejections, and customer returns. • Identify root causes and drive corrective actions across teams.

4. Process Improvement

• Identify operational inefficiencies and drive lean process improvements.

• Implement systems, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms for continuous monitoring.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Planning, Production, Quality,tech and Finance to implement improvement initiatives.

• Ensure initiatives are executed with measurable outcomes.

• Reduction in inventory carrying costs

• Reduction in damages, and returns

• Identification and closure of cost leakage points

• Implementation of sustainable systems and controls

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

• 5–6 years of experience in Manufacturing Excellence / Supply Chain Excellence / Cost Optimization roles

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

• Ability to perform deep data analysis and root cause identification

• Strong understanding of cost structures, inventory management, and operational processes

• Advanced Excel / data analysis capability

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks preferred
