Manager, Creative Strategist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Creative Strategist based in India.
This is a strategic creative leadership role focused on driving performance across media, content, and brand partnerships in the APAC region.
You will define creative testing strategies, establish hypotheses, and turn performance data into actionable creative direction.
The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on expertise across paid media, content production, creators, and partnerships.
You will collaborate with internal teams, creative agencies, production partners, and talent to deliver high-quality, performance-oriented creative.
A major focus will be building scalable testing frameworks and identifying which concepts, formats, and messages consistently drive results.
You will also help shape creator, sponsorship, and partner communications while maintaining a consistent brand voice across markets and channels.

Accountabilities:
- Own the creative strategy and testing roadmap across Meta, Google, and emerging media channels for the APAC region, defining hypotheses, test structures, and success metrics.
- Build and maintain a rigorous, scalable creative testing framework that ensures decisions are grounded in performance data and measurable learnings.
- Analyze creative performance data and translate insights into clear strategic recommendations for future briefs, concepts, and campaigns.
- Develop detailed creative briefs for internal teams, external production specialists, agencies, creators, and other partners, providing strategic rationale, references, and clear success criteria.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of performance at the concept, format, and messaging level, using insights to refine creative direction before performance declines.
- Ensure creative strategies are adapted to the mechanics and audience expectations of each channel while remaining aligned with the broader media plan.
- Establish consistent testing taxonomies and briefing structures so creative learnings can be tracked, compared, and shared effectively across teams.
- Bring strong platform knowledge and a forward-looking perspective on digital creative trends, translating emerging opportunities into practical and testable strategies.
- Provide strategic creative input into monthly creator briefs for paid media activations, ensuring messaging is conversion-focused and aligned with campaign objectives.
- Own creative messaging for key sponsorship initiatives, including email marketing, social content, and digital assets, using media performance insights to guide decisions.
- Partner closely with creative agencies and cross-functional teams to improve the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of creative output across APAC markets.
- Share creative performance insights with partnerships and content teams to strengthen future briefs and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across creative briefs and partner touchpoints while adapting messaging to different audiences, markets, and channels.
- Serve as the primary creative strategy partner to the Media team, ensuring a continuous pipeline of high-quality, on-strategy assets across the full marketing funnel.
- 4–7 years of experience in creative strategy, content, production, or a related field, ideally within a D2C brand, creator economy, consumer business, or similar environment.
- Strong creative briefing and brief-writing skills, with the ability to translate commercial objectives into clear, compelling direction that creative, production, and creator teams can execute.
- Solid understanding of paid media fundamentals and the factors that influence creative performance and conversion.
- Hands-on experience developing or managing multiple content formats, including social video, long-form YouTube, email, podcasts, and live/event content.
- Experience working with external creative partners, agencies, creators, and talent, with confidence representing a brand in partner-facing discussions.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to use performance data to inform creative strategy, testing priorities, and future concepts.
- Excellent organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple briefs, production timelines, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and maintain alignment across creative, media, partnerships, and production functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly and high performance is expected.
- Strategic thinker with strong creative judgment, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in health, wellness, and performance is considered a plus.
- Must be based in APAC, with the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
