Manager - Credit Risk & Data Analytics
How will you make an impact in this role?
The Global Credit Risk Oversight organization within Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) is responsible for independently overseeing and challenging the company’s credit risk taking and credit risk management activities, including the comprehensive identification, management, and mitigation of credit risks within the company’s risk appetite. This position is a relatively entry-level individual contributor.
This person is responsible for providing credible challenge to US Consumer and Small Business new accounts and Initial Line business processes owned by First Line Defense. The candidate must have strong large data analytical skillsets, good knowledge in credit risk strategies / management, and extensive portfolio monitoring experience.
The incumbent will report to the Director, Global Credit Risk Oversight.
- Conduct independent / thorough reviews of the consumer & small business risk processes and strategies through extensive data analytics
- Provide analytical support for Credit risk policy and Standards for new account and limit management & customer management and collections
- Produce, analyze and publish ongoing monitoring reports, such as portfolio and functional MIS, exception monitoring MIS, Risk Appetite Framework, etc.
- Own Exceptions and Smart Monitoring KRIs and action appropriately.
- Monitor concentrations in the consumer & small business portfolios and recommend actions to mitigate risk
- Identify emerging risks by tracking macroeconomic and markets trends
- Advanced degree in quantitative field (Math, Stats, Data Science, etc.). 2-5 years of working experience are preferred
- Strong large data analytical skills and business acumen with a risk-reward control perspective
- Proven capability with data-driven analytical tools (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Excel, PowerBI)
- Credit risk management experience for a large portfolio

- Ability to clearly communicate oversight findings to credit risk peers, business partners, and senior leaders
