Manager, Demand Planning
- Lead the creation of weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast.
- Lead and facilitate S&OP forecast meetings.
- Oversee the calculation of proper supply plans based on generated demand forecasts.
- Review, prepare, and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals.
- Ensure the maintenance of healthy inventory in distribution centers and stores based on target days cover.
- Manage, mentor, and closely work with demand planning specialists to drive adjustments on the plan.
- Monitor supplier issues and manage escalations as necessary to ensure availability.
- Oversee the identification of slow-moving SKUs and flag them to stakeholders to drive strategic action.
- Oversee the identification of SKUs with inventory showing no-movement for the past 28 days.
- Collaborate with inventory controllers on identifying stocks for balancing across warehouses.
- Take full ownership of the category group by being on top of issues related to overall S&OP, especially in ordering and availability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to assist in projects, drive strategic actions, or resolve complex issues.
- Working cross-market in the Asia Pacific region
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or any relatable specialization.
- At least 3 years of work-related experience in demand or supply planning.
- Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
- Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
- Strong analytical mind and business acumen with the ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends, and to form strategic conclusions based on findings.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Highly comfortable with processing information using Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work and lead autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Has a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to instill this in a team.
