Manager DevOps
Summary
Leads IT development and operations to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of applications and systems, focusing on DevOps practices, CI/CD, automation, and cross-team collaboration to drive business continuity and system reliability.
- Lead and manage IT development and operations activities to ensure reliable, secure, and effective delivery of applications, systems, and digital solutions.
- Manage application development, deployment, integration, and production operations to ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and business continuity.
- Lead and guide the Development & Operations team in delivering IT initiatives in accordance with business priorities, project timelines, and applicable IT standards.
- Manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD processes, release management, version control, deployment automation, and application monitoring to improve development and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper implementation of change management, incident management, problem management, backup, and recovery processes to minimize service disruption and maintain system reliability.
- Coordinate the transition of new applications and system enhancements from development to production and ensure readiness for Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.
- Ensure IT development and operational activities comply with Company policies, information security standards, IT governance, architecture standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor application and system performance, identify technical issues and improvement opportunities, and ensure timely resolution of incidents and operational problems.
- Coordinate with business units, IT infrastructure, information security, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders to support system development, integration, and operational requirements.
- Manage IT vendors and technology partners, including performance monitoring, service delivery, SLA compliance, and issue resolution.
- Prepare IT development and operational performance reports, including system availability, incidents, deployment performance, project progress, and improvement initiatives for Management.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and technology adoption to enhance system reliability, development speed, operational efficiency, and overall IT service quality.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in IT, with significant exposure to IT Development, Application Operations, DevOps, or IT Service Management; preferably with leadership or managerial experience in telecommunications, technology, infrastructure, or similar industries.
- IT-related certifications such as ITIL, Cloud, DevOps, Network, Information Security, or Project Management are considered an advantage.
- Willing and able to provide escalation support for critical IT services when required.
- Strong technical competencies in Application Development & Operations, DevOps & CI/CD, System Integration, Infrastructure Operations, Cloud & Server Management, Database Management, Network & Security, Application Monitoring, Incident & Problem Management, Change & Release Management, Backup & Disaster Recovery, IT Service Management, and IT Governance.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, decision-making, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
