Manager Digital Platform Strategy CX (f/m/x)
In the Digital Platform Strategy CX team, we shape and purposefully evolve the global digital customer experience of DOUGLAS for our web shop and our app. Our goal is to continuously develop our e-commerce platform in line with our customers’ needs while taking the requirements of an international market environment into account.
We work at the interface between our international markets, various global functions, Product and user experience.
We are looking for you as our Senior Manager Digital Platform Strategy CX: in this varied role with a high degree of autonomy and room to shape, you structure complex questions, bring different perspectives together and drive your topics forward with professional expertise and real ownership.
TASKS WITH IMPACT
- You identify opportunities for web and app, derived from strategic goals, performance data and relevant customer insights, and analyze platform-related requirements from our international markets and global functions
- The underlying problem statement is sharpened by you, and with the help of relevant performance indicators and targeted market feedback, you assess the expected benefit for customers and our e-commerce business
- Well-founded recommendations for prioritizing initiatives are what you develop, taking into account their added value, global scalability, effort and dependencies
- For prioritized initiatives, you work with Product, user experience and other stakeholders to define the functional target picture and suitable solution approaches that contribute to the defined business and customer experience goals
- Ownership of your digital platform initiatives is yours, and you steer them from concept through implementation to performance measurement, keeping progress, risks and dependencies in view and deriving concrete next steps from the results
- Cross-functional collaboration with our international markets and central functions is steered by you: you bring different requirements together and move necessary decisions forward
- As a co-developer of global platform standards, you ensure their consistent application and support our markets with clear guidelines, documentation and training
YOUR SKILLS
- You have a completed degree in e-commerce, business administration, business informatics or a comparable field, which forms the foundation of your profile
- Several years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital business, customer experience, product or project management, or a comparable function are part of your background
- Digital initiatives or optimizations along the customer journey are something you have already driven forward independently and in collaboration with different functions
- A good understanding of digital business models and customer journeys helps you assess how platform changes affect the customer experience and business development
- Complex or initially unclear questions can be structured by you, relevant information brought together and translated into concrete recommendations
- With performance indicators, analyses and test results, you are confident, using them to test hypotheses and prepare well-founded decisions
- A good understanding of how business, Product and technology work together, along with enough technical affinity to grasp connections and ask the right questions, is something you bring
- Clear, audience-appropriate communication sets you apart, as does the ability to represent your assessment in a comprehensible and constructive way, even when interests differ
- An independent, structured way of working, strong ownership and a reliable approach to stakeholders help you keep the overview, even with parallel topics and changing conditions
- Very good German and English skills round off your profile
Don’t tick every box? That’s fine: we’re happy to hear from curious people and will support you as you grow into new topics.
