Manager, Digital & Social Activation – Job Summary

The Real Chemistry Global Activation team is a growing group of digital specialists helping healthcare clients unlock new opportunities across social media, digital and emerging channels. As we continue to expand our global capabilities, we’re looking for a digital and social media specialist to help deliver integrated digital strategies for leading healthcare clients.

We're looking for someone who combines strong digital expertise with a genuine curiosity for what's next. Whether it's AI-powered content creation, generative search optimisation (GEO), emerging platforms or new approaches to healthcare engagement, you'll enjoy exploring opportunities that help clients connect with audiences more effectively.

Working closely with senior specialists and cross-functional teams across global social, digital and omnichannel programmes, you'll help shape the continued evolution of our activation capabilities while developing your own expertise across broader digital activation strategy.

A strong understanding of paid social media is essential, particularly across Meta and LinkedIn. You'll have hands-on experience planning, launching, optimising and reporting on campaigns, translating client objectives into audience targeting, budget allocation and content recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day digital and social lead across client accounts.
  • Plan, execute, optimise and report on paid social campaigns, particularly across Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables and quality control processes to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Translate audience insights and performance data into actionable recommendations across digital strategy, channel planning and campaign optimisation.
  • Partner with creative, analytics, paid media and strategy teams to deliver integrated programmes.
  • Support new business through research, insight generation and presentation development.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and platform developments across social media, search, AI and digital engagement, identifying opportunities to evolve client programmes and activation capabilities.
  • Support and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Manage workload and resource allocation effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on paid social experience across Meta and LinkedIn (essential) including audience targeting, budgeting, optimisation and performance reporting.
  • Understanding of content strategy and creative best practices across a range of channels
  • Confidence in day-to-day client management and presentation delivery.
  • Ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience across key digital and social platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit and search, with an understanding of the role different channels play within an integrated activation strategy.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Agency and/or healthcare experience preferred.

At Real Chemistry, we believe we're at our best when we're connected. Our Real Hybrid and Regional Teams (Real HART) approach is designed to foster collaboration, learning, innovation, and meaningful relationships while providing flexibility where appropriate. Because our workforce spans multiple countries, regions, and client needs, work arrangements may vary by role and location. Some positions offer hybrid or remote flexibility, while others require regular in-office presence. For example, certain teams and regions, including some of our UK operations, have office-based requirements. Your recruiter will discuss the specific expectations for the role you're pursuing during the interview process and keep you informed throughout the hiring journey. For employees located within a one-hour commute of a Real Chemistry office, we require in-person attendance two days per week, either from a Real Chemistry office or when working onsite with clients. Employees in regions without a nearby office may work remotely and come together throughout the year for collaboration, culture-building, learning, and team connection opportunities. While these guidelines reflect our current workplace model, we understand that everyone’s circumstances are unique. If you require additional flexibility, we welcome an open conversation with your recruiter and our HR team to discuss your needs and determine what may be possible.
