The opportunity
This role owns a high-growth Amazon business and is responsible for accelerating customer, revenue, and profit expansion across a portfolio of categories. The position leads the development and execution of integrated sales, marketing, and merchandising strategies to drive both top- and bottom-line performance.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and combines strong analytical thinking with cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.
The role
Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans to drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across Amazon categories
Own annual sales and financial planning, in partnership with leadership, to meet or exceed targets
Manage and optimize trade and promotional spend, including ownership of the promotional calendar, budget tracking, and ROI analysis in partnership with finance
Build deep expertise in assigned categories, leveraging competitive insights, market trends, and Amazon analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance
Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market data to forecast demand, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend data-driven actions
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and finance to align on strategy and execution
Lead regular business reviews, providing clear insights, performance updates, and actionable recommendations
Identify opportunities to improve processes and scalability by leveraging AI and automation tools; implement solutions that enhance efficiency, decision-making, and execution speed
Champion the adoption of AI-enabled tools and best practices to streamline workflows, improve reporting, and reduce manual effort
The requirements
Education/ Experience
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS required)
5+ years of eCommerce, digital marketing, or account management experience, preferably with Amazon or other major retail partners
Strong understanding of retail math, e-commerce metrics, and Amazon performance drivers
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in Excel; experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
Experience with Amazon Vendor Central (Seller Central experience also considered)
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques
Strong understanding of retail operations, product lifecycle, and/or supply chain is a plus
Demonstrated ability to align analytics with business strategy and drive outcomes
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, data-driven, and digitally evolving environment
Proven experience leveraging AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and drive operational efficiency
Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms, with the ability to apply them in a business context (e.g., analysis, reporting, content development, or process optimization)
