Job Description

Lead and coordinate emergency planning and preparedness activities to ensure the hospital is prepared to respond effectively to emergencies, disruptions and critical incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans, procedures and response frameworks
• Coordinate hospital-wide emergency preparedness exercises and drills
• Work with various departments to identify operational risks and emergency response requirements
• Review and improve business continuity and emergency response plans
• Coordinate stakeholders during emergency exercises and preparedness activities
• Monitor emergency preparedness capabilities and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare reports, presentations and management updates relating to emergency planning
• Support incident reviews and follow-up actions after exercises or actual events
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on emergency preparedness matters
• Drive continuous improvement of emergency response processes and procedures
