Your Responsibilities
As the Manager of the engineering process, data, and tools team, you will be part of the SoC Test Supply Chain Division (Operations) team, which creates a competitive advantage by achieving a high level of operational excellence and a leading-edge customer service level utilizing an outsourced manufacturing environment.
A key success factor is the state-of-the-art processes and tools based on data to achieve the most efficient operation at the lowest cost.
In this role you and your team will create significant value for SoC Test Supply Chain Division Engineering and adjacent functions, by digitizing and standardizing engineering tools and processes to reduce the time to insight and therewith increase efficiency. The team will provide end-to-end (PCB/A - System) visibility through data, reports, and analytics, enabling fast issue detection and decision-making.
The scope of Data Analytics, Metrology, Processes Team includes:
Metrology: Focuses on the development of new measurement methods, and the maintenance of measurement standards. Applies measurement science to manufacturing processes e.g. calibration, maintenance, and quality control of measurement instruments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of production tests. Ensures that measurements and measuring instruments comply with laws and regulations.
End to End manufacturing data and processes: Involves the collection, integration, and analysis of data of especially the product manufacturing process, like information of machines (Flying Probe, ICT, AXI,..), and systems (e.g. FVT) used in production.
Tools & Processes: Delivers different smaller reports, software tools, processes used by engineering to analyze, monitor, ramp and manufacture products in volume.
In this role, you will team up and closely collaborate with the different product engineering teams, the SoC Delivery Data Tools Team, and the Contract Manufactures, to identify and define requirements for product data, reports and analytics to monitor, control and enhance the product manufacturing processes. You will establish metrics and targets to improve process effectiveness and efficiency to anchor corresponding measures in the functional teams for continuous monitoring and improvements. You will report to the Director of SoC Test SC Engineering Excellence Center, and your teams will consist out of experts with different areas of expertise.
