Manager - Enterprise Strategy & Transformation
Description
WHO WE ARE
We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business. It’s been our mission to Serve the World Flavor since we first opened in 1994, and we’re just getting started. 1997 saw the opening of our first brand partner operated Wingstop location, and by 2002 we had served the world one billion wings. It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.
Above all else – our success is largely due to our people and our core values, or what we call The Wingstop Way of being entrepreneurial, service-minded, fun, and authentic. We believe having a strong people foundation centered on these collective values creates a crave-worthy culture and talented team, as well as ensures our brand is poised for accelerated growth. We all win together.
WHAT WE’LL NEED
Overview
Wingstop is seeking a Manager, Enterprise Strategy & Transformation to play a pivotal role in establishing and operationalizing our newly formed Transformation Office. Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy & Transformation, this role will help build the processes, governance, and operating rhythms needed to translate enterprise strategy into measurable business outcomes.
As the project lead for Wingstop's enterprise transformation portfolio, this individual will bring structure, visibility, and accountability to the organization's highest-priority initiatives. Working cross-functionally with business leaders, the Manager will establish project management frameworks, align stakeholders on priorities and milestones, identify risks and dependencies, and drive disciplined execution from planning through implementation.
This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role with a unique opportunity to help build a new enterprise capability from the ground up. The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic thinking, strong program management expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Success requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and balance long-term transformation objectives with the practical execution needed to deliver meaningful, sustainable business impact.
Responsibilities
• Design, launch and run the Transformation PMO, including governance, intake and prioritization processes, standard tools, templates and reporting.
• Maintain the integrated enterprise roadmap and portfolio view of transformation initiatives, including scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, resources and status.
• Run the operating rhythm for the portfolio, including steering committees, workstream check-ins and executive status reviews.
• Produce clear, concise portfolio dashboards and executive updates for the Chief Transformation Officer, Senior Director and Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
• Lead cross-functional workstreams from kickoff through implementation, partnering with leaders in Marketing, Operations, Finance, Technology, Development, Supply Chain, People and International.
• Translate strategic priorities into detailed project charters, work plans, success metrics and accountabilities.
• Proactively identify risks, issues and interdependencies; drive resolution and escalate with recommended options when needed.
• Hold workstream owners accountable to commitments while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.
• Establish project and program management standards and coach initiative leaders on effective execution.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve how the PMO operates.
• Track progress against KPI’S, timing and deliverables.
• Support the annual strategic planning process and quarterly business reviews with analysis, materials and logistics.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management, program management, business transformation, strategy development, or management consulting.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.
• Experience establishing or improving PMO processes, governance, reporting, and project management frameworks.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving accountability across teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.
Tools & Technical Capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, for executive reporting, business analysis, and presentations.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Experience developing project dashboards, tracking KPIs, and reporting on milestones, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related discipline.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or similar project/program management certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation, organizational change, or large-scale strategic initiatives.
