Job title: Manager- ERP Transformation & Enterprise Applications
Job summary: The Manager – ERP Transformation & Enterprise Applications will serve as a key internal leader supporting McCall Farms’ Oracle Fusion implementation and broader enterprise applications transformation efforts. This role is intended to provide strong internal ownership and continuity across business process redesign, implementation readiness, solution coordination, testing, training support, change adoption, cutover preparation, post-go-live stabilization, and ongoing enterprise applications support.
In the near term, this position will serve as a primary internal liaison between McCall Farms business leadership, end users, IT, and external implementation partners to help drive execution, remove barriers, maintain momentum, and support the successful rollout of scalable business processes and technology solutions. This individual will play a central role in helping the organization prepare for and adopt new ways of working while also helping reduce long-term dependence on external parties for internal coordination, readiness activities, and first-line functional support.
Over time, this role will also support broader enterprise applications, business process improvement, reporting, and systems coordination needs across the company. The successful candidate will be expected to operate effectively across functional, operational, and technical boundaries, with particular emphasis on ERP, manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, planning, inventory, maintenance, reporting, and related business processes within a complex food manufacturing environment.
This position requires a strong combination of business acumen, ERP and enterprise applications experience, leadership capability, organizational discipline, communication skills, and a hands-on approach to execution. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable working with executive leadership, plant and functional teams, IT staff, software vendors, and system integrators to help translate strategy into practical results.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as a key internal leader supporting the Oracle Fusion implementation and related enterprise systems transformation initiatives.
• Act as an internal bridge between business leadership, end users, IT, software vendors, and external system integrators to help keep workstreams aligned, decisions moving, and project objectives on track.
• Support McCall Farms’ internal readiness for ERP deployment across all phases of the program, including process alignment, action tracking, business engagement, testing readiness, training coordination, and cutover preparation.
• Partner with leaders across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehousing, Planning, Maintenance, Quality, Customer Service, and other functions to define business needs and align process and system decisions with operational realities.
• Lead and facilitate business process mapping, future-state process discussions, workflow simplification, and process redesign efforts to improve standardization, control, efficiency, and data quality.
• Drive disciplined requirements gathering, fit-gap review, issue follow-up, decision support, and workstream coordination across the ERP program and related enterprise applications efforts.
• Coordinate closely with implementation partners and third-party consultants to ensure deliverables, dependencies, risks, open issues, and decisions are identified, communicated, and advanced in a timely manner.
• Help establish and maintain strong internal project discipline through status reporting, meeting follow-up, risk tracking, action item ownership, testing preparedness, and business readiness activities.
• Support data, reporting, integration, and process discussions required to enable successful ERP deployment across a multi-site food manufacturing environment.
• Lead or strongly support conference room pilots, solution validation, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, Hypercare preparation, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Support organizational change efforts by coordinating stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training support, business readiness activities, and adoption follow-up in partnership with leadership and implementation teams.
• Assist in developing and maintaining training plans, support materials, process documentation, SOPs, knowledge-transfer artifacts, and other tools needed to improve user readiness and long-term supportability.
• Serve as a key internal resource for post-go-live business process support, issue triage, enhancement coordination, release readiness, and ongoing functional support planning for Oracle Fusion and related enterprise applications
• Help build durable internal capability by improving documentation, process ownership, support coordination, and internal understanding of core enterprise applications and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary complexity, retire legacy practices, improve process discipline, and strengthen cross-functional execution across the enterprise.
• Support broader departmental priorities related to enterprise applications, business systems, reporting, project leadership, process improvement, and operational support as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 to 12 years of experience in ERP, enterprise applications, business systems, business analysis, process improvement, operations systems support, or related IT / business transformation roles
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or participating in major ERP implementations, enterprise systems deployments, large-scale upgrades, or significant business process transformation initiatives
• Direct experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SCM, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Maintenance, Planning, or related Oracle Cloud modules strongly preferred
• Comparable experience with other major ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, JD Edwards, or similar enterprise systems may be considered
• Demonstrated experience working directly with ERP system integrators, consulting firms, software vendors, and cross-functional business leadership during implementation or post-go-live support efforts
• Strong experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution validation, testing coordination, deployment readiness, and post-go-live support
• Experience supporting organizational readiness, training coordination, user adoption, stakeholder engagement, communications support, or change-related activities for enterprise-wide initiatives
• Strong understanding of core enterprise business processes, including procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, inventory management, warehouse operations, order-to-cash, maintenance, and financial controls
• Experience supporting or coordinating ERP project phases such as discovery, design, fit-gap, build, conference room pilot, SIT, UAT, cutover, Hypercare, and stabilization
• Experience with cross-functional data dependencies, reporting needs, integrations, and surrounding business systems in an ERP environment
• Experience in manufacturing, food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, distribution, warehousing, or supply chain-intensive operations strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a multi-site, operationally intensive, fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders and competing priorities
• Strong project leadership and coordination skills, including status tracking, issue follow-up, risk identification, action item management, and cross-functional accountability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership, plant personnel, functional users, IT staff, and external partners
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on practical, scalable, business-oriented solutions
• High degree of professionalism, ownership, urgency, integrity, and accountability
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also leading collaborative efforts across cross-functional teams
• Strong skills in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, documentation, process flows, and business-facing written communication
• Experience with reporting, analytics, SQL, data validation, master data, or enterprise data analysis activities preferred
• Experience supporting application support models, issue triage, release readiness, testing coordination, or ongoing functional support processes preferred
• Experience with structured project methodologies, business process improvement methods, or change management frameworks preferred
