How will you contribute to our magical experience?

The Facilities Manager will join the team to act as the primary on-site representative for the Facilities team, serving as the main point of contact for workplace-related needs while leading Design & Delivery initiatives, space planning, and projects that enhance employee experience. The role ensures facilities, projects, and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Disney workplace standards and business needs.

The Manager, Facilities will be responsible for:

  • Serve as the primary Facilities representative and on-site liaison for the Diego Lerner Campus, partnering with HR, IT, Security, business leaders, and regional Facilities teams to support workplace operations and employee experience.
  • Lead Design & Delivery initiatives, including workplace planning, office redesigns, renovations, employee relocations, organizational moves, seating assignments, space optimization projects, workplace enhancements and the development and maintenance of office layouts and floor plans. Coordinate closely with regional and global Design & Delivery teams to ensure alignment with workplace standards and successful project execution.
  • Oversee building operations and facilities services, including maintenance, cleaning, workplace support services, and screening room operations, ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient workplace environment.
  • Manage cleaning, gardening, and screening room operations, coordinating vendors and service providers to ensure quality standards, operational effectiveness, and a safe, welcoming workplace environment.
  • Build strong relationships across multiple business functions and effectively navigate competing priorities, stakeholder expectations, and complex workplace decisions.
  • Manage vendor relationships and facilities service contracts, ensuring high-quality service delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with Disney policies and standards.
  • Ensure facilities operations comply with applicable regulations and Disney standards, including health, safety, security, and sustainability requirements, while supporting risk management initiatives.
  • Lead, develop, and support team members by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work environment.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • +8 years of experience in facilities management, workplace services, corporate real estate, Design & Delivery, or workplace project management.
  • Experience managing workplace projects, including office redesigns, employee relocations, space planning, renovations, and workplace enhancements.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations, maintenance programs, workplace services, and vendor management.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and service contracts, including performance oversight and service delivery management.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, security, and workplace compliance requirements.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience working with Design & Delivery, Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), or workplace design projects.
  • Knowledge of space planning tools, AutoCAD, CAFM systems, or workplace management platforms.
  • Advanced level of English.
