Role Overview

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a hands-on and commercially minded FP&A Manager to lead business performance management and financial planning for one of the repair operations in Singapore.

Reporting to the Controller, this role will partner closely with business leaders to provide forward-looking insights, challenge assumptions and support sound operational and strategic decisions. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with detailed data while also driving process simplification, automation and transformation.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts and long-range planning processes, covering sales, profitability, cost, headcount, capital investment and cash flow.
  • Drive monthly business performance reviews, providing clear analysis of results, outlook, risks, opportunities and required actions.
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, Engineering and other functions to improve business performance and support decision-making.
  • Constructively challenge business assumptions, established practices and investment proposals using sound financial analysis.
  • Develop business cases, scenario modelling and financial evaluations for new programs, capabilities and strategic investments.
  • Lead the finance implementation of new business models and initiatives, including appropriate costing, planning, reporting and performance-management processes.
  • Improve forecast accuracy, management reporting and the quality and timeliness of financial insights.
  • Simplify and automate FP&A processes through dashboards, data analytics and digital tools.
  • Support monthly closing, governance, controls, audits and senior management or Board reporting as required.
  • Coach and develop the Finance team while strengthening overall FP&A capability.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • 10–14 years of progressive FP&A, business finance or commercial finance experience, preferably within a multinational or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical capability and financial-modelling skills.
  • Proven ability to translate operational data into actionable business insights.
  • Confident communicator and business partner who can influence stakeholders and constructively challenge senior leaders.
  • Hands-on, proactive and accountable, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience leading process improvement, automation or finance-transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SAP, Power BI, Databricks or similar analytical tools would be advantageous.
  • Aerospace, manufacturing or MRO experience would be an advantage.
