Manager, FP&A
In this highly visible role, you will own financial modeling and forecasting for content royalties, the expert transcript library, and AI/LLM infrastructure costs. You will lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting; build models for royalty payments, revenue-share commitments, transcript-library economics, and AI/LLM consumption and inference costs. You will partner with Procurement and Legal on model-provider contracts and work with budget holders on resource allocation and trade-offs. You will develop unit economics and gross-margin analysis, prepare quarterly internal, Board, and investor reporting, and improve FP&A processes in support of IPO readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for content royalties, the expert transcript library, and AI/LLM infrastructure costs
- Build and maintain models for content royalty payments, revenue-share commitments, content-provider commitments, and expert transcript library economics
- Model AI/LLM consumption and inference costs
- Partner with Procurement and Legal on model-provider contracts, including usage tiers, minimum commitments, and true-up mechanics
- Develop unit economics and gross-margin analysis tied to consumption drivers
- Report on efficiency, capitalization, and ROI on new AI features
- Partner with budget holders on spend, resource allocation, and trade-offs
- Prepare quarterly internal, Board, and investor reporting packages
- Improve FP&A processes to support IPO readiness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field
- 4+ years of relevant FP&A experience
- Experience in a consumption-based or usage-based business
- Knowledge of variable cost drivers and consumption-based spend scaling
- Knowledge of COGS, gross margin, and unit economics
- Financial modeling expertise
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Cross-functional business partnership experience
