Manager - FX Sales - SME

To lead the development and growth of the FX business within Business Banking by establishing a well-integrated and digitally enabled operating model across SME portfolios (SE), NEOBIZ and Trade & Working Capital (TWC) segments.

The role will work in close partnership with product, and business teams to enhance client experience, improve wallet share, and deliver consistent and sustainable revenue growth, while ensuring adherence to the Bank’s governance, risk, and control frameworks.

  • Drive FX revenue via cross selling to existing and new-to-bank customers in the Business Banking, Corporate Non borrowing Mashreq Gold segments
  • Deliver agreed revenue numbers through ensuring extension of funded / non-fund based facilities, FX / remittances transactional volume, Margin trading, Forward contracts , Futures and Options and cash exchange
  • Ensure professional growth and support of the FX specialist team
  • Develop systems and channels that proactively solicit / manage businesses, which meet agreed risk-reward parameters of the unit.
  • Implement governance system to monitor all outstanding deals on Spot and Cash transactions to ensure intra day risk is managed within the set limits
  • Write and follow up on credit proposals for all forward deals
  • Ensure product profitability via spread maintenance and volume growth across Business Banking and Mashreq Gold
  • To work closely with all product and channel partners from RBG & TCM so as to maximize opportunities provided through regular contacts, feedback, and coordination and cross referrals.
  • Develop and implement RM driven customer campaigns
  • Work with finance to ensure end of month financial reports are accurate and complete
  • In-depth knowledge of products, services and delivery channels available for SME, Corporate and Gold customers.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in FX and FX sales
  • Informed in market competition, industry practices and regulations
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, networking and financial management skills.
  • Preferably a management graduate with 8-10 years relevant working experience.
