Job Summary

The Manager, Global Distribution Analytics & AI Automation will serve as the core technical data and automation architect within the Global Commercial & Channel Operations team. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Distribution Strategy & Transformation, this individual is responsible for translating raw distributor data streams into real-time operational intelligence and self-executing workflow automations.

Rather than managing distributor vendor relationships directly, this role owns the underlying data pipelines, executive dashboards, incentive validation engines, and agentic process flows that ensure our global distribution channel operates with maximum profitability and minimal manual overhead.

Key Responsibilities

1. Executive Business Dashboards & Multi-Motion Analytics

  • Build, maintain, and optimize production-grade business intelligence dashboards used by senior leadership to run the global distributor business.

  • Synthesize cross-platform data streams to deliver consolidated, multi-regional views across all product types: Hardware (HW), Software (SW/SaaS), and Professional/Managed Services.

  • Structure data architectures to track performance across distinct Go-To-Market (GTM) motions, including Distributor-Managed Reseller channels and Distributor/Channel-Owned Customer direct routes.

  • Track and visualize core channel health metrics, including Weeks of Supply (WoS), inventory turn rates, stock aging, and deal registration win rates.

2. Global Channel Data Architecture & Infrastructure

  • Own the global relational channel data model, unifying disparate data sets across product catalogs, distributor master records, inventory snapshots, and point-of-sale (POS) sell-through files.

  • Write, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations to ingest weekly EDI/API data feeds from tier-1 distributors, standardizing regional currencies and localized SKUs into normalized global reporting.

  • Conduct continuous data auditing to ensure high data integrity across all global distributor data pipelines.

3. Agentic AI & Workflow Automation Engineering

  • Partner with enterprise IT and data engineering teams to design, test, and deploy autonomous, multi-agent AI process flows.

  • Configure logic loops (Observation $\rightarrow$ Planning $\rightarrow$ Action) to automatically monitor inventory data, detect stockout/excess risks, and stage targeted rebate or promotional interventions for human approval.

  • Implement document processing and AI-assisted workflows to automate the ingestion and initial triage of distributor billing disputes and proof-of-performance (PoP) documentation.

4. Incentive Automation & Financial Reconciliation

  • Architect automated validation rules mapping daily POS transaction data against active Special Pricing Agreements (SPA) and volume rebate tiers to eliminate margin leakage.

  • Maintain real-time inventory tracking logic to dynamically calculate price protection credits and stock rotation eligibility when MSRP adjustments occur.

5. Cloud Marketplace Integration & Technical Transformation

  • Serve as the technical data lead for channel transformation projects connecting vendor provisioning systems to distributor cloud aggregation hubs (e.g., CloudBlue, ArrowSphere).

  • Monitor and audit API data streams for multi-party private offers (Vendor-to-Distributor-to-Reseller) across hyperscaler cloud marketplaces (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure accurate billing and usage metering.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Revenue Operations Analyst, or Business Intelligence Manager supporting global sales channels, supply chain, or multi-tier distribution networks.

    • BI & Dashboard Design: Proven track record building production-grade dashboards in PowerBI, Tableau, or Looker, specifically structured for multi-category portfolios (HW, SW, Services) and varied channel GTM models.

    • AI & Automation Capabilities: Practical or conceptual experience working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering protocols, and enterprise automation platforms (Python, Zapier, Alteryx, or LangChain/CrewAI concepts).

    • Technical Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of distribution data exchange protocols (EDI 846/867, REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON) and core ERP/CRM data schemas (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location.
