Manager, HRIS

Job Summary
Responsible for the strategic administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's Human Resource Information System (HRIS), primarily Workday HCM. The Manager, HRIS leads HR system initiatives, drives process automation and continuous improvement efforts, ensures data integrity and compliance, and oversees the successful implementation of system enhancements and releases. The role also provides leadership to HRIS team members and serves as the key escalation point for complex Workday issues while fostering strong partnerships across the organization

Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Design and Documentation

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop solutions to streamline and automate.
  • Own end-to-end setup of processes, including analyzing business requirements, configuring system functionalities, leading user acceptance testing and sign-off, and migrating configuration.
  • Design and develop user education materials.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Point of contact for Central Administration team’s escalation of Workday-related ticketing issues from end-users and internal HR.
  • Investigate and resolve system errors, data discrepancies, and performance issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to HR team members and end-users on Workday functionalities and best practices.
  • Utilize manual or EIB methods to ensure data integrity in line with end-user requests.

System Maintenance

  • Maintain Workday data consistency and integrity by providing oversight and problem resolution.
  • Partner with the HR team to review system configurations and processes to ensure appropriateness and efficiency.
  • Support the ongoing design, configuration, and maintenance of multiple HCM functional areas such as recruiting, talent, compensation, absence management, time tracking, and performance management modules.
  • Lead discussions and testing of new functionality related to bi-annual Workday release testing.

Reporting

  • Utilize analytics and system metrics to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor workforce data quality and drive corrective actions where necessary.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.


Requisite Criteria & Skills

  • At least 5-10 years of Workday/HRIS experience – configuration experience in Workday required
  • Strong experience supporting global HR organizations and enterprise HR technology environments.
  • Proven experience leading system implementations, releases, integrations, and process transformation projects.
  • Skilled collaborator who develops strong relationships and consultative partnerships to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt and pivot in fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Workday HCM configuration experience required.
