As a leading luxury menswear retailer operating across Canada, Harry Rosen is seeking a Manager, HR Programs to join our growing team. The Manager, HR Programs is the driving force behind the programs our Associates rely on every day - Associate relations, health & safety, leave management, HR policy, benefits, performance, and compliance. It's a role with breadth and ownership: you'll be the trusted advisor leaders turn to, deliver practical solutions to real people challenges, and keep our programs running consistently, efficiently, and true to our Core Values.
Key functions include:
  • Lead day-to-day Associate relations cases and drive positive experiences by guiding Leaders and Associates through workplace issues while fostering respect, fairness, and collaboration
  • Lead ongoing maintenance of HR policies, driving annual reviews and translating updates into clear, Associate-facing content
  • Lead benefits and compensation administration, including benchmarking, Associate benefit onboarding, life-cycle changes, and open enrollment execution
  • Own national Health & Safety and leave management
  • Support and deliver training that builds better leaders, from compliance essentials to leadership development
  • Support the annual assessment cycle - equipping leaders to have meaningful development conversations and keeping the cycle moving smoothly
  • Keep us ahead of changing legislation across AODA/IASR, internal programs, and provincial standards
  • Lead pay equity compliance & job creation and evaluations
  • Lead the service recognition program
  • Collaborate with leaders and cross functional teams, drive process improvements, and foster engagement
  • Lead and grow the HR Coordinator
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP designation is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading HR operational functions and programs.
  • Previous experience working in an environment with high service orientation, and with an understanding of the unique HR challenges and opportunities in the retail sector, is strongly preferred.
  • Workday or similar HRIS experience required, along with advanced Excel and Microsoft suite skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French is considered a strong asset.
  • Adaptable and agile, thriving in fast-paced environments while seamlessly shifting between tactical execution and high-level focus.
  • Exceptional customer orientation, collaboration and communication skills; proven ability to work with leaders at all levels, cross-functional teams, and all internal and external partners.
  • Understanding and application of provincial employment legislation, including ESA, AODA/IASR, Occupational Health & Safety, Human Rights, etc.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, problem solving orientation and operational excellence within HR functions

** Compensation for this role will be dependent on skills, experience, and seniority. The starting compensation range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 annually.
