- Lead the administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Construction Services technology platforms, ensuring reliable system performance, appropriate user access, security, and alignment with departmental and district operational needs.
- Manage the integration of construction management systems with district ERP, finance, procurement, document management, GIS, and other enterprise platforms; lead implementation and enhancement of technology solutions supporting capital projects.
- Establish and maintain standards for construction, project, financial, vendor, and contract data to ensure accuracy, consistency, integrity, accessibility, and compliance with district requirements.
- Develop and oversee dashboards, executive reports, and performance metrics that provide leadership with timely visibility into project schedules, budgets, expenditures, change orders, contracts, milestones, contractor performance, and overall capital program performance.
- Evaluate Construction Services business processes and lead the development of automated workflows, system enhancements, and standardized procedures that improve efficiency, accountability, consistency, and project delivery.
- Provide leadership in evaluating emerging construction technologies, identifying departmental technology needs, recommending system improvements, and developing solutions that support the strategic objectives of Construction Services and the Capital Improvement Program.
- Oversee technology and digital documentation supporting projects throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout, ensuring project records are complete, organized, accessible, and properly archived.
- Lead technical support and training for project managers, inspectors, consultants, administrative staff, and other system users; develop standards, procedures, training resources, and guidance that promote consistent and effective use of construction systems.
- Ensure construction systems and electronic records comply with district cybersecurity, records retention, internal control, and audit requirements; manage system permissions and support internal and external audits and data-recovery planning.
- Serve as the primary systems liaison among Construction Services, Information Technology, Finance, Purchasing, consultants, and software vendors; manage vendor relationships, software licensing and maintenance agreements, system implementation initiatives, and technology-related coordination necessary to support successful capital project delivery.
