Manager (IC), Marketplace Strategic Initiatives, BD team-SH/SZ/HZ

This role will initially focus on supporting Regional Development, partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen performance management, identify growth opportunities, and improve operational efficiency. As part of a centralized BD PM & Sales Operations team, the role will also support other business domains and BD-wide initiatives based on evolving priorities.

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities, sound business judgment, and operational ownership. The successful candidate will go beyond reporting numbers to understand business drivers, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and build scalable solutions that support BD execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analytics & Reporting

• Support BD business performance analysis and reporting, initially focusing on Regional Development, with potential to other domains.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports covering seller acquisition, regional performance and other key metrics.
• Conduct deep dives to identify business gaps, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Work with BI and business teams on data sources, metric definitions and reporting requirements.

2. Planning & Sales Operations

• Support BD annual planning, goal setting, target allocation and performance tracking.
• Prepare analysis and materials for regular business reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR).
• Improve recurring reporting and operational processes through standardization and automation.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, BI or similar roles.
• Hands-on skills in SQL and Excel, with experience using BI/reporting tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of business operations.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively in both Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in e-commerce, marketplace or related businesses.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, Python or similar tools.
• Experience in business planning, sales performance management or process automation.
