A day in the life
You start your morning reviewing data quality dashboards and operational metrics for your deployment pipelines, then sync with your engineers on sprint progress. Mid-morning, you join a design review where the team is working through how to retire a legacy validation path without disrupting downstream consumers. After lunch, you meet with customer experience and retail partner teams to align on cross-team dependencies and upcoming feature needs. Later, you hold a one-on-one with a direct report, discussing their growth goals and identifying stretch opportunities. You close the day connected to the details that keep pricing data trustworthy for millions of customers.
About the team
The Price Memory team answers a simple but important question for Amazon customers: "Is this deal actually a deal?" We own the record of prices customers saw and paid and supply the historical inputs that validate deals across Amazon. Our data powers customer-facing experiences and internal tools, and we coordinate closely with experience teams to ensure pricing information reaches customers accurately. Our work is high-visibility, directly shaping how shoppers evaluate savings. We are investing in simplifying our architecture and building toward a future where customers can confidently verify every savings claim. If you want to lead a team whose work is visible every time a customer checks a price, we would love to talk.
