Manager, Influencer Partnerships

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports the independently incorporated Planned Parenthood affiliates, which operate non-profit health centers across the U.S. PPFA also works to educate the public on and advocate for issues of sexual and reproductive health. Formed as the advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a separate non-profit membership organization tax-exempt under section 501(c)(4). The Action Fund engages in educational, advocacy, and limited electoral activity, including grassroots organizing, legislative advocacy, and voter education in furtherance of the Planned Parenthood mission.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund seek an Influencer Engagement Manager. This job reports to the Associate Director, Content Partnership department within the Content, Culture and Events department.
This role will support the development and execution of c3 and c4 creator partnerships and influencer engagement initiatives. It will help drive impactful social-first campaigns by managing creator relationships, supporting campaign operations, monitoring emerging trends, and ensuring seamless execution across partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a creative and highly organized social media strategist who can manage complex projects, build strong relationships with creators and internal partners, translate organizational priorities into compelling content opportunities, and advance social change through digital storytelling.
Purpose:
- This role will support the development and execution of C3 and C4 creator partnerships and influencer engagement initiatives.
- It will help drive impactful social-first campaigns by managing creator relationships, supporting campaign operations, monitoring emerging trends, and ensuring seamless execution across partnerships.
- The ideal candidate is a creative and highly organized content strategist who can manage complex projects, build strong relationships with creators and internal partners, translate organizational priorities into compelling content opportunities, and advance social change through digital storytelling.
- Support content and digital partnership opportunities that extend beyond traditional influencer engagement, helping identify new ways to reach and engage audiences.
Engagement:
- In partnership with the Associate Director, maintain and build solid working relationships with both internal and cross-functional teams and external talent teams.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to oversee and manage digital influencer campaigns to ensure consistency, equitable partnerships, legal compliance, and brand safety.
- Provide project updates, performance insights, and recommendations to the Associate Director and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support creator engagement initiatives, including in-person events, bespoke merch development and seeding, and in-platform communications.
- Work with creators, talent teams, vendors, and other external partners across influencer, content, and digital partnership work.
Delivery:
- Support the development and execution of paid and organic influencer efforts, including partner identification, campaign briefs and creative concepting, timeline and deliverable management, and reporting.
- Develop clear and compelling creative briefs that translate organizational priorities and complex topics into engaging, platform-specific content opportunities for creators.
- Draft and manage influencer newsletters and communications that provide creators and supporters with updates, opportunities, resources, campaign information, and ways to engage.
- Identify and vet potential influencer partners across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms, with an eye toward audience alignment, cultural relevance, and campaign goals.
- Partner with the Associate Director to develop and execute creative ideas and content concepts that leverage creator voices, platform trends, and audience insights to drive engagement and impact.
- Stay on top of emerging content, creator, cultural, and platform trends, identifying opportunities to inform and strengthen content and partnership work.
- Manage influencer content review workflows, including coordinating internal review chains, collecting feedback, communicating edits, tracking approvals, and ensuring content moves efficiently from concept to publication.
- Support social listening and creator community management efforts using relevant social monitoring and analytics tools.
- Maintain and organize creator databases, partner records, and campaign tracking systems to ensure accurate and accessible information.
- Support contract administration and management across influencer partnerships, content work, digital partnerships, and vendors, including coordinating agreements, tracking deliverables and contractual obligations, and ensuring work is executed against agreed-upon terms and timelines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- 3–5 years of influencer marketing, content strategy, digital partnerships, and/or social media experience.
- Strong understanding of influencer culture, content and social platforms, and what makes content resonate with different audiences.
- Experience developing social-first creative concepts and briefs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving pieces, deadlines, deliverables, and contractual requirements across concurrent projects.
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and move along multiple projects, anticipate project breakdowns, and clarify needs to meet project goals.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to create engaging communications, newsletters, and briefs that translate complex topics into digestible and engaging content.
- A savvy content strategist who understands how to leverage creators, cultural and content trends, social platforms, including emerging platforms, and digital tools.
- The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment, understands and values strong processes, has experience with social media and ways to leverage content creators, and has a passion for social change.
