As a Manager, IT Infrastructure, SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless & Identity Services you will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continually improving enterprise network capabilities. This role focuses on developing people, building organizational capability, driving strategic priorities, and ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable network services that create value for Koch businesses. The individual will partner closely with Architecture, Security, Operations, and Business Stakeholders to align execution with business outcomes

You will lead a team of network engineers and technical specialists supporting SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless, and Identity Services across Koch businesses. The team works closely with Architecture, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders to modernize network capabilities, improve service reliability, strengthen security posture, and enable scalable business growth.


What You Will Do

People Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and technical specialists.
  • Build an engaged, high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Conduct performance management, career development, succession planning, and talent assessments.
  • Ensure team members have opportunities to grow technical expertise, leadership capability, and business knowledge.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Align individual strengths and comparative advantages to maximize value creation.

Strategy, Planning & Prioritization

  • Partner with business, architecture, and technology leaders to establish priorities and align resources to the highest-value opportunities.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Balance delivery commitments, technical debt reduction, modernization efforts, and operational needs.
  • Guide investment decisions based on business outcomes, risk reduction, and long-term value creation.
  • Drive organizational alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.

Technical Leadership & Engineering Excellence

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership while empowering engineers to own design and implementation decisions.
  • Support the adoption of modern networking, identity, automation, and security capabilities.
  • Facilitate technical decision-making for complex initiatives, risks, and escalations.
  • Encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence throughout the team.

Operational Excellence & Service Reliability

  • Establish clear operational objectives, metrics, and accountability for service performance.
  • Ensure effective management of incidents, problems, risks, lifecycle activities, and renewals across SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless, and Identity Services to maintain service reliability and reduce operational risk.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability, scalability, and customer experience.
  • Ensure sustainable operational practices that reduce risk and improve efficiency.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience leading teams supporting enterprise networking technologies, including Cisco LAN, Wireless, Identity Services, and SD-WAN platforms.
  • Understanding of enterprise networking protocols and architectures, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, routing design, traffic engineering, and network resiliency.
  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies, including: Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Cisco Meraki SD-WAN
  • Good understanding of WAN, LAN, Wireless, network access technologies, segmentation, and secure connectivity principles.
  • Experience managing priorities, resources, and delivery commitments in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience driving operational excellence, service reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to balance business priorities, customer needs, technical considerations, and organizational objectives.
